emacs-nox, thanks to a patch contributed by diegonc, is now in [extra]. Do your duty to your favourite GNU distribution and use/test it!
Quite frankly, now we have a form of emacs, I fail to see why any more userland packages should be ported. With emacs, we already have a complete userland! >_>
